No template prompt

Hyena 5.5 isn't prompting for a template to use when adding a new user or when copying a user. I have the Default template selected for Default Template for standard user profiles. I also have both confirm template prior to usage for adding users and copying users checked.
After it creates the users I manually enter the home directory path it then prompts for a template.
After selecting the template I get a popup "Home directory masks are not specified in template. Home directory can not be created". I have \\Server\%username% in the template New Home directory mask.

Make sure when you are creating a user that you don't have the box checked to Run Active Directory Creation Wizard. If this is checked, uncheck it and create a test user.

If you still have a problem, send a screen shot of your template and of the error to [email protected].

Hi,

I am also getting this problem but with Hyena v6. I have disabled the Active Directory as previously suggested but has not helped.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

On the Tools->Settings->Home Dir tab do you have the boxes at the bottom checked? Also, do you have a default template selected?

Not to worry, I found the problem. I was copying a user who didnt have a template selected so when I tried to copy that user it didn't pop up with a template!
