  • Can't Use B Drive for home drives - Again

    Hey all,

I posted this (http://www.systemtools.com/HyenaBoar...ML/000044.html) back in June, have now upgraded to the latest 5.5 and have the same problem.

Apparently it was to be included in future versions, but it doesn't seem to be there.

Made the mistake of deleting the interim patch, so am wondering if you could either post the original or make the same mod for 5.5 available.

    Promise I won't ask again (for a while!! )

    Cheers,
    Sam

I'll check how we implemented this. We generally have to release a patch to fix minor issues a few weeks after a release, so that would be a good time. If you need to go back to v5.2, the download it at the bottom of the normal download page.

    Thanks

This should be working, but it only is implemented when managing Windows NT 4.0 users. I still need to test this on NT, but it should work...the code is all there.

Are you using this on Windows NT or Windows 2000 ?

Tried on both NT & 2000, but no good.

Domain is an Active Directory, but User Manager from NT4 works fine for them too.

In order to not introduce unexpected results of this, we enabled this feature for Windows 2000 domains. To get this to work:

          - Download http://www.systemtools.com/download/hyena55b.zip

          - Replace the hyena.exe file from the one in this archive.

          - Create a REG_DWORD value under HKCU\Software\Adkins Resource\Hyena\Customize with the name "ShowAllProfileConnectionDrives" and give it a value of '1'.

After that, you should be able to see the A: and B: connect drive options.

          Thanks

Thanks for that. It works fine showing the B: drive for the Connect drive option in the Profile Tab, but the drive is still not listed in the connect drive options in the Terminal Tab. Is there a registry entry required to enable the drive options to be displayed in the Terminal tab also?

            Regards,
            Sam

I forgot to modify the code to do that for the Terminal tab. I'll do that and update the beta by the end of the week.

              Thanks
