Copy one user's groups to another user

Often, especially when staff are relieving, I would like to be able to copy group membership from one user to another. Also a group of existing users may require access the same as an another existing user. Is this possible other than manually andding the same groups for the user.

I believe you would have to manually add them. If you were creating a new account, you could copy an existing user and keep group memberships intact. But since you are dealing with existing users, I don't know of an easier method.
