re-apply home dir template

I need to move a bunch of data and would like to re-apply the security that was created by Hyena when the account/home dir was created. Is there an easy way to do this?

You can setup your Home Directory Template with the settings the way you want them. Then select the users and right-click and choose Properties. On the Profile tab, change the home directory path to the new format and click OK. Hyena will then apply the template settings for the selected users.

I just created some users, but I didnt make home directories for them. I thought I might be able to do what was listed above, but it doesnt create any directories. Is there a way that I can select a group of people and have it use the template to create their home directories after the fact?

You'll select the users you want to modify, then go to User Properties, then Profile.

Enter in the path to the Home Directory as you have it in your template. For example, if your New Home Directory Mask in your template is \\server\%username%$, then enter that in the Home Directory Connect to field. When you click OK Hyena will apply the template settings for each of the selected users.

Thanks.... Thats what I did before, but it didnt do anything. I finally figured out I had to have one of my templates set as the default or it wouldnt prompt you for a template or do anything.
