  • Template Shares Caching and $

Used the template feature for creating homedirs and accompanying shares.
    2 questions
    1. How do I create homedirs that don't end in $ but with shares that do?

    2. The created shares default to caching permitted. How do I prevent this?

    Many thanks

Re: Template Shares Caching and $

In your home directory template, the only place that the $ should be present is on the New Home Directory Mask. Remove it from the other fields and this should take care of this problem.

Unfortunately Hyena can't control the caching option.

Can anything control/prevent the default caching of shares on W2k? - I have 700 to manually remove
