  • Bulk disable of user accounts

Hi All, I am fairly new to Hyena and would like to be able to run a bulk disable of around 140 user accounts and at the same time add a comment in the description of the account as to why the account was disabled. Is this possible in Hyena? if so could someone give me some pointers as to where I should start?

    thanks

Re: Bulk disable of user accounts

I assume these are 140 out of many users, so the hardest part would probably be selecting those 140 from the right-hand window. If this is the case, create a temporary group. The Add member function allows you to paste in a large number of users. Once they are members you can expand that group in the left window, then double-click on the Members object.

This will display them in the right-hand window, and you can select them all, then right-click and choose Properties. Check the box for Account Disabled, put the information you want in the Description field, then click OK.
