  • firefox and hyena issues

one of my admin guys is experiencing some strange issues with hyena if he install firefox. if he install firefox then he is not able to add computer names to the domain or unlock user accounts. But if he uses another machine without firefox then he can add computer accounts to domain and unlock users. is there something related to firefox that may be causing this? not sure what it could be.
    thanks

the error is: "unable to save active directory data. access is denied. --extended error---ldap provider: 00002098: secerr SIS-03150A45, problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), data0"
his account is fine because he can use a computer with IE and hyena and it works just fine. it is just this computer that has firefox installed - thats the only thing that has changed on this computer - it used to work ok until firefox got installed - very weird -- even if firefox gets removed the error still happens -
we havent tried removing hyena yet -

Something is different security-wise from that computer. I don't know anything about Firefox, so I can't say what impact that would have.

If it worked fine before installing that, then you should at least have a starting point, but Hyena or an incompatibility with Hyena is not the issue.
