Updating a User

We have granted a specific set of users the ability to update all the information that resides in the Profile tab of users. The users can make changes to the IDs using MMC (ADUC) but can not make the same changes using Hyena.

Any suggestions?

If they are using Hyena's dialogs, they'll also need to ability to read/write to useraccountcontrol.

Granting access to useraccountcontrol would allow the users the ability to do transactions we don't want them to do. If this is the only way to make this work we would have to continue to use MMC from MS.

Your other option would be to go to Tools->Settings->Active Directory and check the box to Show shell property pages by default for user objects.
