  • Screen View of Local User Accounts

In Exporter, we are able to export a report of all local user accounts and last password change date.

We'd like to be able to modify the right frame of the screen view so that we could see all local accounts and last password change date.

Then we would like to be able to select the ones on the right frame that have outdated passwords and make change the local password for those machines.

Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

I'm not quite sure I follow...can you give me an example including steps you are taking to get there?

      I'm sorry, I suspected I didn't describe this well.

Basically we'd like to be able to view and work with on the screen the same local account pwd age information that we can get with exporter.

For each PC in the left tree pane, we'd like the right pane (tabular or list view) to show all local PC accounts and the date of the last pwd change.

If this view (query?) is possible, then we'd like to be able to select certain local PC accounts in the right pane, right click and change password for those accounts that are outdated.

Does that make more sense? Thanks again.

That helps...thanks. In the left window you can expand a computer and you'll see Users for the local users on that computer. Right-click on the Users object and choose View All User Details. In the right window you will see the other fields for each user.

Ok, I see how that works for one PC at a time. But I'd like to be able to show this information for all of the PC's in a container without having to individually select each PC and open up this view.

          Can this be done?

          Thanks again.

No, you would have to do this one computer at a time. You would use the Exporter Pro to export this information for multiple computers.
