Error Opening User Rights Policy

I think I may have screwed something up and now I am scratching my head (I removed and then re-added an entry from the SeInteractiveLogonRight branch). I am trying to look at the User Rights on a remote PC, but everytime I try to expand a branch I get the following error message. I am a Domain Admin and all Domain Admins are members of the Local Admin group.

Error: "Unable to open rights policy registry for \\MachineName"

Any help is appreciated.

Is there more to that error message? Are you able to see anything else on the computer from Hyena, such as users, drive space, etc?

Nope, that's all there is to the error. The error shows up in a "Pop-Up Window". BTW - it looks to have cleared itself up. I can now (after 30 minutes or so) access the information again. Don't know what happened, but I will try to investigate further.

Oops... Forgot to answer the rest of your question. No, I could not expand anything on this PC. I could expand the PC itself and see the main area (Users, Local Groups, Printers, etc), but could not expand any of the sub-branches. Thanks.

I have same problem and i can access drive information and some other information but i get same error when i click on user rights option!

What OS is Hyena installed on, and what OS are you trying to view? What version of Hyena?

operating system Hyena is installed on is Windows 7 64 bit
OS of server am trying to access is Windows server 2003
Hyena version is 8.1 B

I'm not finding anything useful on this one, unfortunately. Go ahead and send a screenshot of the error message to [email protected]. Also try the other items beneath that computer such as Registry, etc, and let us know if you have this error viewing User Rights on any of your other computers, such as other Windows 7 computers, etc.
