  • Dial in Tab

Is there a way to make the dial-in tab show under user properties ? I understand the dial in value will disply under detail property but it would be nice if I can see it from the tab. I would think many have this need as more pople are integrated the wireless authentication with domain password, this field is a must. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

If you hold the Alt key, then double-click on a user to open it's properties, do you see the Dial-In tab there?

Yes, this is magic. But the properties tab looks different than the Ad , Also I will miss the terminal service tab

        Re: Dial in Tab

The reason for having you try this was to see if you were using the Shell Property Pages for your users, rather than Hyena's property pages. Hyena puts it's own Dial-In tab, but if you are on XP you will find that MMC does not display it. This is not a Hyena issue, but rather MMC.

Hyena's property pages can show you a Terminal tab as well if you have it enabled in Settings.

          Thank you for your explanations.
But I still can not see Terminal Service Tab under hyena user property page, even I have checked to show terminal server info under tools->setting->user.

Could this cause by the fact that I am using standard edition not enterprise ?

That is correct...you would need the Enterprise Edition to see this.

Thanks for the quick response. We are in the process to upgrade to enterprise edition. You have been very helpful.

                Re: Dial in Tab

FYI...there is a workaround for this issue which I had to refind since I've recently had to reformat and reinstall due to a hard drive crash. There is a Microsoft KB article which details how to get the three RRAS files from Microsoft which are no longer included in the 2003 Server adminpak.msi: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=837490
There are also instructions here on how to get it working using those files from a 2003 Server: http://www.jsiinc.com/subn/tip6900/rh6988.htm
