Migrating Shares and Permissions

Hello,

I am in the process of migrating from an NT 4.0 PDC to Win2003 server and am looking for a method to duplicate the shares and permissions on the new server. I can move the data and individual file security via our backup software but would like a method to ensure that all shares are replicated on the new server. It sounds as if Hyena can help accomplish this but I was hoping for some real world feedback and advice.

Hyena can be used to copy shares from one server to another and can keep share permissions intact for you. The best thing we can recommend would be to take one share and copy it to make sure everything works as you would expect.
