  • Who is Local Admin and has Admin Rights

Is there a way for Hyena to generate a report of a list of user ID's that are member's of the local machine administrators group on each PC in AD?

We are wanting to eventually change the admin p/w thats been used for some time on our PC's, being that its being abused by others to install various items, and will Hyena be able to change this accrossed the domain aswell for us and how?

If Hyena can not do this, can you suggest another tool that might?

    Thanks,

    Jeff D.

To get the report, select your domain and then go to Tools->Exporter Pro->Export Selected Objects. Click Settings, then double-click Windows NT/Local Groups. Check the box to Export Group Members, enter an ouput file name, and choose Local Group Members Only.

Since you only want Administrators you can create a text file with the word Administrators in it, then point to that file in the Only export information for groups listed in this file.

Run that export and open the output file with Excel.

For your second question, select your computers in Hyena's right window then right-click and choose More Functions->Set Account Password.

Changing the password works the same way in your version, but the export will be done by going to File->Export->Members.
