I'm having a lot of demand from my users to move to wireless for our laptop users and am currently setting it up. I've followed Microsoft's directions in setting up a computers dial in properties but I don't see it anywhere in Hyena. I do see the Dialin tab when I open up the Active Directory Users and Computer snapin. Does Hyena support it?

    thanks

      Re: Wireless

Basically I'm trying to get our wireless connections as secure as I can. I know that WEP leaves a lot to be desired so am planning on using, WPA-Radius authentication. We are running a Windows 2000 domain with XP clients. According to Microsoft's KB318710 article each wireless computer account, as well as user, must be granted Remote Access permission. The article goes on to describe how to do that which includes adding the dialin attribute to the computer accounts by importing 802.1x authentication settings to AD. Once that's done a new tab show's up on the AD Users and Computers snapin when you select computer properties that let's you select this tab and grant computers the rights to dialin. The tab looks exactly like the one for assigning user rights for dialin. I was just wondering if Hyena supported that as i haven't seen it on the computer properties tab.

Thanks for the details. Right-click on a computer and choose Directory Functions->Shell Properties and you should see the Dial-In tab there.
