    Using Hyena 5.7...

    1. I want to be able to right-click on the Global Groups icon and select FILTER and type in SERVER1 and click OK and then I want Hyena to only show the groups with SERVER1 in it. It should also change the icon Global Groups to Global Groups [Active Filter] so I know it is a filtered list.

    2. I want to be able to right-click on the Global Groups icon and select UNFILTER to show all Global Groups.

    3. In addition to number 1 above, when the list is filtered I want to be able to right-click on Global Groups [Active Filter] and select EXPAND ALL and all Global Groups will expand showing their members.

    4. In addition to number 1 above, when the COMPUTER icon is selected, I want to right-click on it and select SHOW ONLY WINDOWS SERVERS and SHOW ONLY DOMAIN CONTROLLERS options.

Is your domain that is the subject of these enhancement requests a Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000/2003 domain ?

        Re: Enhancement Request

Referring to item #1, when you say "I want Hyena to only show the groups with SERVER1 in it.", I'm not sure what group attribute has SERVER1 in it. Is SERVER1 a member of some of the global groups ? One thing that Hyena can do now is allowing viewing of group members in the right window for any number of selected groups. After displaying the members, either sort on the group member column, or filter them out using the filter toolbar button. Unclick the filter toolbar button and the list become unfiltered.

As for item #4, I was asking about the domain so that I could explain that there isn't any known way to show only servers or domain controllers in a Windows 2003 domain from AD. That is why Hyena has a separate Servers and Domain Controllers object that operate outside of the directory itself.

Your right that using the filter some of what I want...

          1. It is an icon so I have to go up to the toolbar, it just would be easier if it was a right-click option.

          2. I also want to view the Global Groups and all members of each Global Group (filtered) at the same time. Seems to only work when I don't have the Global Groups filtered...
