Hyena won't create the profile, but rather simply sets the value in the Profile Path field of the user's data to \\server\share\%USERNAME%. The profile must either already exist, or you'll create it manually.

Re: Can't use Template to create a default profile location

I am trying to create a setting in which everything I create a user it will by default having a roaming profile in one of the network share. I assume I can do it with a template. I try to put a profile path in Tool>setting>Home Dir tab

    ie: \\server\share\%USERNAME%

I assume by doing that everytime I create a user it will have a roaming profile with the name of the user.

But it doesn't happen, I have to do it manually.

Let me know if my explanation is clear

    Thx

Can you give more details on how you have this setup, what you are doing, and what you expect it to do?

Hi I am trying to create user profile using preset template. The default profile path is \\server\profile\%USERNAME%

From what I understand, whenever I create user using this template, the new user should have a roaming profile set according to the path. But this doesn't happen. I have to go back and change manually. Does anyone know why?
