Computer Properties

I have a couple of computers on my network (W2K) that I cannot get information on in the Computer Properties window. The errors are General Tab: unable to access...access denied
Hotfix, Software, System, and Environment tabs are all: unable to connect to registry of 'computername'
Network tab: Unable to list transport on "computername". Access Denied.
Do you have any idea of why I can't access information on these computers?

For some reason you don't have sufficient permissions to access the registry on those computers. I would recommend verifying both local Windows security, but also registry permissions.

Is there a way to change the computer name? IE: Right click My Computer - Properties - Computer Name - Change? I looked under Hyena's Computer Properties but did not see that option.

You should be able to create a Custom Tool for that. Here is a post with information on how:
