Working with Directory name

During our migration with the exchange 5.5 connector for Active Directory. All of or most of our accounts have there display name as there directory name. I am in the process of changing the directory names by hand to match there alias\login id. But what really bytes is that when you right click to rename. You can NOT paste the alias. I will settle for an answer for either way. Either a way to massivly do it, or fix the paste function!

Your best bet would be to experiment with a scripting tool for this, maybe WMI/WSH.

Do you mean being able to paste into the Hyena GUI when you are in the process of renaming something ? ie you get the rectangle around the item and type in a new name ?
