Re: Microsoft Cluster
When we are creating users we use the user home directory template feature of hyena. today we enter in the "new home directory mask" field the name of the server and share. in the future the server is a microsoft w2k cluster server. there we configure a "shared resource" with the "advanced file share properties" of "share subdirectories". the user share should be created there by just creating a folder in this subdirectory. Is Hyena aware of this special configuration ? Or do I have to use a script ?

Re: Microsoft Cluster
I'm not sure how the Cluster side works, but from your example it sounds like you can change the New Home Directory Mask in your home directory template to the format of:
\\server\share\%username%
With this, Hyena will create a directory on the specified share.

Re: Microsoft Cluster
We have some clustered machines. While Hyena will report the standard share attributes, it wont report any of the extra clustering attributes.
Same for creating, you can create a share but it wont pick up any of the clustering bits.
We found it easier to use Cluster Manager to create and then Hyena to report.
Hope this helps.
