error finding DC..help

When i go into the computer tree and select any pc. When i go to groups then select any of the groups for example Adminstrators group I get the error

{Error finding Domain Controller for "computer name" Could not find Domain controller for this domain.}

Any one know how to fix this. We have 2 fully functinoal DC's

What version of Hyena are you running, and on what version of Windows?

How do you have your domain configured (assuming you are expanding domain to get to these computers.)

What steps are you taking in Hyena to produce the error?

4.7 on XP

domain is configured by going to object manager config

and adding a windows 2000 domain object
with the asdi path LDAP://domain.internal

I then expand my domain choose any computer that is on expand the computer..Expand local groups. When i try to expand the localcomputer\administrator group is when i get the above error.

As a test, change the ADSI Path to LDAP://domain and try it that way.

Also, are you able to administer this domain using Active Directory Users & Computers from this same computer?

Still doesnt work... However I uninstalled 4.7 and reinstalled 4.3 and it works fine. As soon as I install 4.7 it breaks

sorry yes i can manage with active d and users just fine
