LDAP Update/Add Problem

Environment: W2K - workstation and server.

Problem: Unable to make changes to domain users, such as adding a user, or zapping a password.

Error message: "LDAP://servername/fkldsajltwe" unable to connect to server. Yet I can see all of the users listed in AD.

What gives, is there a solution to this ?

Do you have the Administration Tools installed on your computer?

Are you able to go to Start->Programs->Adminstrative Tools->Active Directory Users and Computers and modify user accounts?

Yes, I have Admin Tools on the workstation, and am able to perform the functions.

Send and email to [email protected] with the exact steps you are taking that lead to this error, along with a screen shot of the Object Manager configuration for your domain.
