I haven't seen this problem, I've just been told to find the answer, so I hope I give enough information, it's all I have.
We have a Win2k PDC and NT BDC. We have been trying to add users that are already part of one group to another. When we add the person to another group, they are not being granted access to look at the folder(s). The permissions that already exist for the user should grant them access, but it's not. We can go in and manually reapply permissions, but that shouldn't be necessary.
