  • Changing password for selected users in differnet domains

How can you change the password for the same username but in multiple domains at the same time?

Probably the best way to do this would be to create an object grouping by going to File->Manage Object View, then add the domain controller from each domain to this object grouping.

After you add this object grouping you can double-click on it and display your controllers in the right window. Select them, then right-click and choose More Functions->Set Account Password.

Enter in the account and new password information and click OK and Hyena will issue the change for the selected computers.

I played with that idea for a while but it won't let me add the pdc's to the object. If i try and do it as a domain and then add the pdc's it adds them as servers not pdc's.

Hyena will issue the commands to make the change to each computer. The computer type displayed by Hyena is irrevelant for this.

In Object Manager create an Object Grouping, and then add the computer name for the PDC of each of these domains. When you are back in Hyena and double-click this new object grouping you will see the computers listed in the right window and be able to perform the above mentioned steps to make the password changes.
