Email a copy of your vnc.rcm file and a screen shot of the error you are getting to [email protected] and we'll see if we can help with this.

Nope, not yet anyway. Got the service stopped. I just set it to disabled and left the directories as are.
When I boot now it says that it is unable to lookup the local directory for the share 'Program Files' on '*****'. Access is denied.
Do I need to install VNC manually to the host and then share out that directory?

This is just a guess, but assuming that the files in question are on your computer, if they are in use, then you may have installed RealVNC on your computer. In general, you probably don't want or need that : you want to install RealVNC on the OTHER computers.

You should be able to stop the RealVNC service on your computer either using RealVNC or Hyena. Then, copy the RealVNC files to a separate directory, and then uninstall RealVNC, or setup the service to not auto-start and stop the service. This will release the files so they can be copied (or let Hyena copy them from another directory that you copy them to).

Hope I have not confused you.

    Okay
I have managed to get the file directed to the correct link.
When I attempt to connect to the remote machine now it tells me that the files cannot be loaded because they are in use.

Sorry to drag this out so much.

Scratch that. Figured it out. I do have another question though.

Hyena is looking in the /hyena directory for its vnc.rcm file.

When I run Hyena it looks in programfiles/hyena for the vnc files. On the rcm file I have it listed to look in the RealVNC directory.

    Any input?

Am I suppose to be using the .rcm file in the \Hyena directory or the \strcm directory?

You will need to install VNC on your computer first before you can remote control. Hyena does not ship with this utility.

In your Hyena directory is a file called STRCM.htm that has information on this and links to their site.

You'll also need to change the FileList= line in your vnc.rcm file, and there is a post here that will help with that:

In this type of environment, it helps if your current admin account is also the same on the remote computers, along with the password. Then, everything works real well.

You can also right click on a computer and select Logon As... and supply the remote computer's name, username and password.

Let us know what happens when you try either.
