Crashes on launch under WinXP Pro

Failure is shown in msvcrt.dll
Runs file on Win2K.
Version is 4.1
Any ideas? Installed fine also.

This was an upgrade from 2.2 which was our old version. I have since uninstalled and deleted the directory and the registry keys (under adkins...).
I then reinstalled and it still failed. I uninstalled and renamed msvcrt.dll and installed 4.2 from your site. Still same error.
I checked the HDD for duplicate msvcrt.dll files. There were a couple but when I renamed them and tested it still failed.

I am at a loss to figure out what next.

Make sure you installed the Full Install version from the download page and not the Upgrade version. From 2.2 you will need the full install.

If you have done this, search your drive for ad_objects.dat. When you find it, delete it and the other ad*.dat files in that directory. Install the Full Install version again, and if that still doesn't fix it, send an email to [email protected] for further troubleshooting instructions.

After deleting ad_*.dat files and installing full install, this problem was fixed.
