Error running Exporter Pro

Unable to open configuration file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Hyena\HYENA_EXPORTER_PRO.DAT'. Verify configuration and/or installation.

I'm running v8.0 on a windows 7 workstation. I have seaqrched for the file and it doesn't exist.

It might be a permissions issue in that Windows 7 is not allowing Hyena to create the file. Right-click on Hyena.exe and choose the Run As Administrator option, then see if you have the same problem.

I run as a domain admin account that does have local admin rights on the workstation. BUT it seems I had to give explicit file permissions on certain directories & subdirectories.

I think i found the solution here.
try loggin on using your Domain admin account on the workstation and open the exporter. then logout and use your user login.

It worked for me.

This is an interface file used between Hyena and Exporter Pro, but Windows 7 prevents it from being created and/or written to in the default location. If you want another solution, set an alternate location under Tools > Settings > Advanced under the ExporterProInterfaceDirectory
