  • License on Terminal server

I've installed Hyena 7.3 on Windows 2008 Terminal Server via Install Application On Terminal Server. No more than 3 connections at the same time will be used and not always by the same persons. During installation license key was used. Unfortunately everytime a new user wants to start the application, he has to enter a license key.
How can i avoid this ?

    Best Regards,
    John

      Re: License on Terminal server

The license information is stored in the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, so this usually is different for each user, which causes this problem.

Once its entered, its saved both in the registry and into a file into the user's default directory, which Windows will usually set to be:

      <User Profile>/application data/systemtools/hyena.

The <User Profile> part is usually something like c:\documents and settings\username.

In this directory, you can usually find the licensing file, which is named 'register_key.dat'. What you are supposed to be able to do is to copy this file (or the entire systemtools\hyena directory) to any user.
