What function are you using in Hyena when it crashes?

      Re: Hyena crashing

      Try the following:
      Try deleting these 2 keys:

      Hkey_current_user\software\adkins resource\hyena\win32
      Hkey_current_user\software\adkins resource\hyena\customize

After you do that, try starting Hyena again and if it opens you are set. If that doesn't do it, delete the following directory and then try opening Hyena again:

      C:\documents and settings\<username>\application data\systemtools\hyena

        Re: Hyena crashing

The problem occurs when starting the program. The workaround has been tried but the problem persists.

The instructions above should take care of that problem. Make sure you are logged in as the user that you are running Hyena under. If you are using Run As, you'll have to actually logon to your computer with that account to get to that location in the registry.

            Re: Hyena crashing

I am logged in as the user running Hyena and used that same account to get to the location in the registry. I'm not using Run As.

              Re: Hyena crashing

I found another report of this in our database, and the problem was caused by the user making a change in Object Manager prior to this happening.

If you take the above steps, this should have corrected the issue. From here let's try completely starting over on your system.

Uninstall Hyena, then delete the following directories:

              C:\program files\hyena
              c:\documents and settings\<username>\application data\systemtools\hyena

              And this registry key:

              Hkey_current_user\software\adkins resource\hyena

                Re: Hyena crashing

I've uninstalled Hyena, deleted the directories and the registry key you mentionned. Then I re-installed Hyena. But still I get the same error message when running it.
