What are the plans for Hyena running on Vista?

We can't determine anything related to Vista until Microsoft releases (via MSDN on CD) a release version. However, Hyena uses the same Windows system services as Microsoft's own applications, so Hyena will be as compatible as the same MMC applications that Microsoft provides. When MIcrosoft released Windows XP, they didn't even bother to update the MMC snapins to work with XP, so I expect that some services and management applications won't work with Vista for the same reason. I would caution anyone from upgrading to Vista until it has been determined that the Vista client can be used to manage Windows, LDAP, etc.

Thanks for the reply. We'll stay tuned until then and keep at least a few XP machines with Hyena running.

V7.0, the one our site now has Vista compatibility.
