Sounds like you have something else going on there such as name resolution issues, or the computer you're trying to view is offline, etc.

Clicking (once) on the plus sign beside Events I receive no response. Double clicking on either the plus sign or Events I receive the View Selected Events dialog box.

Right clicking on Events and selecting View Events gives me the error "Unable to connect to the computer <computer name>. The error was The network path was not found."

As a test:

1. Click the plus sign for the server you are having problems with, then click the plus sign beside Events. Double-click on one of the logs there. Does this display or do you get errors?

2. Right-click on the server and choose Events->Event Viewer. Does that come up?

Clicking the (+) plus sign next to my domain name in the left panel of the screen, then clicking the (+) plus sign next to Servers. All Servers in the Domain are shown with the exception of the Domain Controllers which show up under the Domain Controller Selection. Working my way down the list of servers I just want to check the Event logs on each server, however on one attempt I receive a error message "Unable to Access service information, Access denied". Moving to another server I receive the "Veiw Selected Events Dial Box", after setting the filter the dialog box disappears, I make another attempt to get to the Event logs and again I'm presented with the Veiw Selected Events dialog box, never actually seeing or getting to the Event logs. Moving to another server everything works great! I can see and check all three Event Logs.

Other servers in the list I can see and check event logs with the exception of the Security log which displays completely blank.

Give us some details to work with. How are you getting to events, what exactly are you seeing, are getting any errors, etc.

Some servers with my domain I can open Events and view the logs and other servers within the same domain I can not even see the Event log names let alone view the log entries. Appreciate any help you can give me.
