Re: Multi-user Install Issues
Generally, we say that only three users can use it, as concurrent usage is usually difficult to control. But if you have a special situation where you have shift workers (like support staff that use dedicated workstations and you have 3 shifts), or some sort of software license management software, then we can discuss that. If that is the case, send an email to [email protected] and we can talk more about this next week.

Re: Multi-user Install Issues
Thanks for your speedy reply. And let me fine tune my understanding of the 3 user license.
Does this mean only 3 users can use it at all, or only 3 users can use it simultaniously?

Re: Multi-user Install Issues
I assume that your co-worker is running Hyena under his own account. Basically, the settings, including the licensing information is user-specific, so each user just has to enter the license information. Alternately, you might be able to find the file named register_key.dat on your computer/server, usually in the profile directory\application data\systemtools\hyena and copy it into his profile directory. But with only 3 users, its easier to just reenter the license information.

Multi-user Install Issues
Ok, I had the 6.5 version of Hyena on a Windows 2003 server running SP1. I use it via a remote desktop session. I The trial expired. I bought a 3 user Enterprise edition. Entered the registration code then ran the software. Then I upgraded to 6.6. Ran the software, everything looked good.
Then I had a coworker try and run it. When he opens the application he gets the Trial Version has expired message. I rebooted the server to see if that would cure it. The reboot did not help. He still gets the error as if we are using the expired trial version, I am able to run it but I am also the one who entered the registration key.
What next?
