Hyena Server appears in Sites and Services

Hello all,
I'vce noticed that our Hyena server (with ADC)is now appearing in MS Sites and Services MMC as if it has become a replication partner with our domain controllers.
Is this normal behaviour ?, what does it actually mean the server is doing ?

I don't quite understand what you mean. Hyena does not act as a server, but rather is simply a client-side application.

Can you give us more details?

Hello,
If I open AD Sites and Services MMC, under the domain node are server objects, here are listed the domain controllers and also the server which we have recently installed the Hyena and AD Connector software on.
I want to understand why it has been added to this list and does it imply that the server is in someway now taking part in domain replication ?

No idea unfortunately. This has nothing to do with Hyena. I would guess it must have something to do with the connector you installed.

Has anbody else out there encountered this when installing the AD connector on a server running Hyena ?

Hyena is an application. It does not have any server component. Installing Hyena does not do anything more than installing any other type of end-user application, ie Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, etc.

Your server is appearing in this list due to the connector installed.

I guess I only noticed it because other AD Connectors are running on PCs which are not listed on Sites and Services.
