Slow performance with version 6 rev D

I am using
W2K SP4 Fully patched via Windows Update
2.8 Proc with over 1G of RAM

When trying to browse through either AD or Network, Hyena freezes up and I cannot use it while it goes away and gets all the info. I do not have any other network issues with any other app.

Is there anything that can be done. I can use Dameware without any issues.

I need a little bit more information on what exactly you are doing. Start Hyena and give a click-by-click, step-by-step description of what action you are taking on a single operation that is 'slow'. Since you indicated that you have an AD domain, check your AD path in Object Manager (first toolbar button). Hyena can use either Netbios or LDAP path, but sometimes Windows will work better with one or the other. In general, unless your DNS configuraiton is not configured right, you should always use a DNS domain path, like:

LDAP://MYDOMAIN.COM

Either way, let us know what you find.

Domain was set to just MYDOMAIN not MYDOMAIN.ORG

Changed this and it seems to have resolved the issue. Removed a rouge DNS resolver from my config, this may have also helped.
