Re: Browsing Objects in 2003 Domain
We don't believe there is any way to change the default. The error you were getting appears to be a DNS issue of some sort, though.
One test you can try is to go to File->Manage Object View, click on your domain, and enter in an ADSI Server. Save that then try again.

Re: Browsing Objects in 2003 Domain
I changed that from entire directory to the domain and it worked fine, but is there a way to default that to the domain? Shouldn't it work as the default "entire directory". It is a pain to click more options when I can simply type in the group and have Hyena display the groups. Thanks for the reply.......

After you click the Advanced button, what is in the From this location: box?

Browsing Objects in 2003 Domain
Using the rial verson and when I go to user management to add a user to a group and go to the advanced tab and then select find now, Hyena reports back an error that it can not find the server. If I use the admin tools "Users and computers" and "find now" from the same box it works fine. What is Hyena missing?
