De-publish printers in AD in bulk

I've got hundreds of printers published in Active Directory that will stay in production, but I want to clear them out of AD. I created an LDAP query in Hyena to present everything with objectclass=printers. My question is - if I delete these objects from the results, will this only remove the AD objects and leave the print queues on the print servers otherwise unchanged?

I would recommend doing a quick test to be sure, but from what I can see it looks like it will just unpublish it from AD.

Hyena would not remove the queues if you delete the AD object, but again, test to make sure, as its unclear what might happen behind the scenes in AD that Hyena would not have any control over. But I dont' think that AD has any behind the scenes functions that actually delete printer queues are shares if you remove the AD objects.
