Move object from right pane to left pane

Suggestion to Hyena interface.

When I Find an object from "Containers/OUs", the resulting object displays on the right pane.

Is there a way to have the resulting object display in the left pane? We find there are more options (after expanding the + ) from the left pane.

Or ... is there a way to move an object from the right pane display to the left pane (without navigating thru the OUs)?

The object in the left display does not have to be under the corresponding OUs. It can be under the generic object groupings (All Users, Computers, All Groups, etc.)

The only option I can think of is that you can right-click on Computers or All users, or All Groups, etc and choose View. Enter the name of the object you are looking for and it will add a temporary object for it in the left pane.

We have been doing that. One downside under the Computers group is the name has to match exactly with the computer name (Unlike All Users, All Groups).

Actually, we have plans for something in the next update (September/October timeframe) to offer a temporary object list, that can be created as you go, so if you are managing something constantly, you can go back to the list frequently, with options to save it back out, etc.

That sounds like a great feature.

But, if you can somehow find a way to move objects to the left pane (from the right). Even one ojbect a time would be a great time saver.

What if there was an option to find the object in the left hand side?

Somewhat like the Sync TOC command that used to be in MSDN.

Its just not that easy. Everything you see is retrieved and then removed from the left window. There isn't anything to really match anything to, unless you happen to have (for example) a user list in the right window, and a user list in the left window, then you could match the LDAP paths to two objects together. Matching from the right window to the left window on computer objects is something that we get requested a lot, but again, the computers have to be retrieved, etc. and its just really messy.
