  • listing MS Exchange users with OWA Service Enabled

    Hi,
I need to list all the users in my ms exchange server that have OWA server enabled. As well as if active sync is enabled. Appreciate if you can tell me in details as am a newbe to the product.

The only thing we can think of would be if you could find a WMI class with that info. So far we haven't seen one, though.

      Looking at this site: LINK

Outlook web access is incorporated in Active Directory through the user attribute protocolSettings.
Default setting is for owa is enabled. The attribute protocolSettings has no specific entry for owa at this stage. Only when owa is explicitly denied for a specific user an entry is added, the value of this entry is:
HTTP. When owa is enabled again for this user the value changes to HTTP.
This script is tested for outlook/exchange2003.

I then edited my Query Type with a Attribute Category "other" and entered protocolSettings. I can now see all my users.
I see a couple settings myself.
      OWAHTTPPOP3HTTPOWAIMAP4MAPIand blank

FYI: by default everyone is enabled for OWA unless you changed the default configuration.
