Stop Process

Hi,
Is it possible to stop a Process running on a remote PC?

You can use WMI to do that one. Right-click on a computer and choose WMI->Execute Query. Choose Processes, then click Execute Query. Find the process you want, right-click on it and choose Terminate Process.

I tried using WMI. I get the Unable to connect to WMI ... Win32 HRESULT 0X800706BA. I turn off the XP firewall on computer I am trying to scan and then it will work. I have looked at many posts in fourm and microsoft. But, can not figure out how to make it work with the fire wall on. Any suggestions?

We found the issue in group policy. It is working now.
