I am trying to install printers on Domain member Vista computers.
I have tried both Hyena and the Alagus PrintUI printer untility. In Hyena the programme locks up when I attempt to expand or do anything that involves the "Printers" entry against a computer, and the Alagus Printer installer shows a key against all the Vista workstations. I have created a lot of Group Policy rules to open all the known ports in the Vista Firewall to allow normal network communications in the Domain. I am certain there is something I am missing. I just cannot figure out what it is. I suspect UA control, but thought I had set the relevant group policy permissions to allow Domain Admins to bypass this remotely, as I am able to copy files into C:\program Files folders without error.
