  • SNMP Service

    Hi,
I would like to be able to do a search for the trap destinations within the SNMP Service on a number of servers, but I'm unable to find the WMI query to do this? Some of the settings on our servers are incorrect and I would like to be able to filter which are wrong and which are correct, how would I do this, that is, if it is possible??Thanks.

I can't find anything in WMI either, but this information might be stored in the registry. Do a search through the registry on one of your computers and see if you can find it. If the information is in there you can create a registry template in Exporter Pro to get your report.

Yes, this information should be in the registry as I looked for it one time to build a property page for the service. Let us know if you can't find it.

I actually was able to do this thru' Group Policy, but for my own benefit can you let me know the steps involved in creating a registry template??Thanks.

In Exporter Pro there is a section for Registry. Look at the default templates to get an idea how they are configured, then click New to create your own.
