Manage Objects - Grouping a group?

Hi,
When creating managed objects is there a method of adding a particular set of groups to an object?
Eg. I do a search for a set of particular groups via the filter option, which leaves me my desired groups. Can i now manage these groups as an object or bring up this list via a macro? What i am trying to avoid to loading 5000 ad accounts and then filtering to get to my list of AD groups (eg ca_admin_*).

We don't have an object type for groups. The only thing I can think of is if you have these groups in a particular OU, you can create a Container/OU object and get to them that way.

The proposed solution is unfortunatley not possible in our environment but appreciate your response.
