Hi There.

Is there a way to sort on only active icons or show only active icons? rather then run an attempted task on a device that isn't active.

You can uncheck the option under Tools->Settings->View to View All Computers (offline,hidden,etc.)

The better method would be to enable the PING functions on that same tab. You can configure it to skip computers that don't respond, or when you click on a single computer you'll see the PING status on the bottom status bar.
