  • get GPO reporting options

In the new version, 7.3, it says under "New Active Directory Features" that "Direct access to Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) reporting options".
    How/were do I use/see that?

    Re: get GPO reporting options

There is a better explanation in the Help file, directing you to search Microsoft.com for "Group Policy Management Console".

You should find a page where you can download the GPMC utility from Microsoft. Once you install it, you will have a bit more functionality including the reference report option. You can also use GPMC directly to manage policies or access some of its features from Hyena (the options are added to the context menu for GP object automatically).

Find answer myself (?) The file was created in my home directory ("default" directory?)
AND I have to give it an extension to !!

Glad you figured it out yourself. I'll add a check in the next update to add a default extension if you don't supply one. But you will have to specify the directory as there isn't any way to come up with a default. The last filename that you used is recalled, so if you only want to create a temporary file to look at, you can use the same name each time.
