  • (Windows Vista - Hyena 7.1) - Adding several users to a group

    Hi all,

I'm used with Hyena 7.1 on Windows 2000. Recently I've installed Hyena 7.1 on Windows Vista and have a problem to add multiple users to one group.

Before, I just select the group and manage the users with the "Members" tab in the properties of the group.

Now, with Vista, I can't find the "Members" tab in the group properties. The only way I found to add users is to do a right click on the group and use "Add to user..." but I can add only one user after the other and it's very boring...

    Any idea ?

Go to Tools->Settings->Active Directory and check that you have the box checked to Show shell property pages by default for group objects. Also, send a screen shot of your group property page to [email protected] so we can see what you are seeing.

Thanks for your answer, I've checked the box but I still can't find the "members" tab. I've sent an email as asked.

      Thanks

For anyone else that runs into this issue, when he used ADU&C he got an error: "MMC could not create the snap-in."

The instructions at this link resolved the issue:
