Is there a way to view the contents of Add/Remove Programs and to run an uninstall via this on a remote computer?

When you view the Software tab of a computer's properties, this list comes from the uninstall key of the registry. Exporter Pro's Installed Software Applications works this way too.
To try and uninstall software remotely you would have to experiment with WMI. Here's some information on that:
