  • Managing printers in a cluster

At our site, we use MS Clustering (2003) to manage our print queues... there are over 1000 print queues on this 2 node cluster. I would like to use Hyena to manage those printers, get simple exports of configs, etc. I cannot seem to connect to the print node. If I connect to the physical node (MSCS06A or MSCS06B), I do not see any printers because Hyena is essentially connecting to the physical node's print spooler information. When I try to connect to the virtual resource name for the print spooler (MS06), I can expand the options; however when I click on the printers icon, I get an "Unable to list printers on \\MS06, Error=1727. The remote procedure call failed and did not execute." dialog box.

Is it possible to manage an MS print cluster with Hyena?

I'm not sure what impact clusters have, but that particular error is usually fixed with the information here:
