  • Last Login Conversion into Excel

When I export the last login information from Windows 2003, the date/time stamp does not convert correctly. The date in Active Directory displays as date and time, "lastLogon=2/13/2008, 10:24:51 PM" when exported it appears 1.28E+17. Is there something I need to do in Excel to get it to convert correctly?

Send a line from your export to [email protected]. I want to see what that looks like prior to you opening it with Excel. I can see Excel not understanding the format or whatever, but it shouldn't convert date to a number like that.

Expand the column, it may be truncating it.

Also, dont forget to set a custom format on the cell ie mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss etc
