we want users to be able to see, which current status / performence of each (server)-processors we have.

How can I do that?

Please provide more information on exactly you want to see. WMI is the best place to get this information, which you can find the WMI object under any computer. There is a Win32_Processor class that provides very detailed processor information, and the performance counter information is also available from the WMI object list. Basically, what are you looking for and is WMI available to you and working now ?
