  • Persistent drive mappings

Is there a way I can find out what presistant drive mappings are setup on all computers in a domain? Like if a user (or admin) has mapped a drive at the workstation and clicked "reconnect at login".
Would then like to be able to "remove" this drive mappings if possible.
    thanks,

    Re: Persistent drive mappings

Its not impossible, but very difficult to do. These mappings are done locally and stored in the registry. I don't remember the settings off hand, but a registry scanner will find it when you create one. But as the user logs off, they get put into HKEY_USERS, and there are usually multiple hives under HKEY_USERS with a SID for the main folder name, so its hard to know what the user is.
