Change Share path on the same server

I want to take several shares (about 800)
with a multi folder path like this

c:\volume\directory\sharename

and change them all to a flatter path like this
c:\volume\sharename

is there an easy way to automate this?

Hyena's Copy Shares To function allows you to change the path, but it won't work on the same server like that. It can only do this when copying to a different server.

Hyena can "rename" a single share and quickly delete the share and recreate it. Does anyone know of a script to automate this for several shares?
